Dr. Sandamali Premaratne

Dr. Sandamali Premarathne  is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist with postgraduate training in Sri Lanka and advanced fellowship training in the United Kingdom at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital NHS Trust (2014–2016). 

A top-ranked graduate in her MD examinations, she has performed more than 5,000 coronary angiograms and 1,500 PCIs as first operator, in addition to ASD device closures and PTMCs. Currently serving at the National Hospital of Galle, she provides comprehensive interventional and general cardiology care. Dr. Premarathne is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology and SCAI, and an elected council leader of the Sri Lanka College of Cardiology.
