Dr. Phyllis Fu

Dr Phyllis Fu  is a Senior Emergency Physician and educator at the Northern Hospital, Melbourne, Victoria. She obtained her FACEM in 2006 and Master of Clinical Education in 2017. Phyllis is the Co-Director of Emergency Medicine Training at Northern Health and the Victoria Regional Censor for the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine.

Phyllis is actively involved in the teaching, training, assessment and advocacy of Emergency trainees. With the changing needs of health practitioners and patients challenging both trainers and trainees in the post COVID and AI era, she believes we are in the threshold of unprecedented transformation in EM training and assessments. She is particularly passionate about understanding and knowing the learner, and the implementation of sustainable training programs that would pave the way for the next generation of emerging Emergency clinicians.
