Dr Heng Cheok is the Deputy Director of Workforce and Education at the Emergency Department at the Northern Hospital with over 15 years of clinical experience across acute, critical care, and pioneering virtual emergency care settings.

Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Cheok continues to be actively involved in registrar education and mentoring. He has a strong interest in innovative models of care, currently leading research on the use of acupuncture as an adjunct for pain management in the emergency setting.

Heng’s leadership is defined by a collaborative, solutions-focused approach that supports both workforce sustainability and staff wellbeing.
