Dr. Charith de silva

Dr. Charith De Silva is an Emergency Physician at Peninsula Health, where he also serves as Co-Director of Emergency Medicine Training (Co-DEMT), and at the Victorian Heart Hospital. With a strong interest in ultrasound and regional anaesthesia, Charith has been actively involved in developing regional anaesthesia education and procedural skill training within his department. He holds a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Ultrasound and is passionate about fostering hands-on learning that enhances safety, precision, and patient comfort in emergency care. Charith continues to mentor trainees, bridging evidence-based practice with real-world procedural excellence.  

Charith is also a driving force behind emx as accreditation lead.
